There is so much stuff to do in the games that there really isn't an average time. My best guess to the average time to defeat N and the Elite Four is 45-50 hours, if you know exactly what you're doing and level up all of your Pokemon without going through and catching the rest. Many people have played the game for over 300 hours and still wouldn't consider it beaten.

It took me over 100 hours to beat it.  It was a challenge, but I finally made it through.  The Elite Four were definitely tough.

The average time, from my own experience and from my friends, is about 50 hours. However, playing side quests, collecting every pokemon, and training them up to level 100, will take a lot longer. There is plenty of content in this game to keep you busy for over 100 hours.

Depends though - if you know what you're doing it can take less than 30 hours to beat the main story. (took me less than 30 hrs)

But if you'd like to do more (such as trade, battle, catch pokemon, or even play competitively) you'll be able to accumulate a lot more hours. I could very easily go over 100 hours and still continue. I'm not hardcore enough to go over 300 though.

well for me it took like 28 hours surpprisingly (for the main game) since my other 2 pokemon games took me about 100 hours

so problably around 50 hours for normal players

100 hours for beginer players

and under 30 hours for the experienced players
