Depends on how good you are, or if you want to do the sidequests in the game, but it will take you about 20-35 hours to do everything there is to do in the game.

Around 40 to 50 hours for most players.

Most RPG are insanely long games......

my guess would be anywhere from 20 hours to 60 hours since its a pretty long game but if you have played it many times you could probably finish it quicker

Final Fantasy 4 DS is a fairly lenghty game. Depending on how you play, it can take anywhere from 30hrs to upwards of even 70.

Just rest assured that there is plenty of game to play.

FF4 for DS is a reasonably long game as with most FF games. Depending on how paced you are throughout the gameplay, it could take a very long time or at best I would say no less than 40 hours. I completed it in about 60 hours but that was at a relaxed pace in free time rather than in large bulk sessions.
